An offensive flurry to begin the 2022 season for a Pella girls soccer standout continued in their sweep of the Centerville Soccer Invitational Saturday.

The #12 in 2A Dutch earned a pair of 7-0 wins over the hosting Big Reds and Ottumwa. Sophomore Abby Warner won the day, scoring 10 goals between the two matches. Warner has 12 of the team’s 16 scores in the early season — her pace in 2021 as a freshman was 26 in 19 contests.

Pella moves to 3-0 and heads to Indianola Tuesday for the Little Hawkeye Conference opener.
