Forecasted rain on Tuesday has led to a few Central College athletic events being postponed. The Dutch’s American Rivers Conference softball doubleheader with Loras College has been postponed to Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex softball field. The Central baseball team’s game at Loras College has also been pushed back to Wednesday night at 6 p.m. in Dubuque. 

Central also announced schedule changes not rain related. The track and field team’s home invitational scheduled for Friday, April 8 has been moved to Saturday, April 9. Field events start at noon and running events start at 2 p.m. Additionally, The women’s tennis team has added a pair of road matches this weekend. In addition to playing Augustana College (Ill.) on Saturday, the Dutch will also play the Illinois Institute of Technology. On Sunday, Central will now travel to Cornell College for a match.
