After boys tennis wrapped up their match, Alejo Marcon arrived to score Pella Christian’s last goal of the evening on a penalty kick. Head Coach Jake Fancher said Marcon’s passion for soccer is a big boost for the entire team.

“He’s one of our captains. One thing I love about him is he’s passionate about soccer, and it rubs off on everybody. So, he gets everybody going and going on the right track.”

The Eagles next boys soccer game is on Thursday when they host Centerville at 7:15 p.m.

In their first match of the season, the Pella Christian boys tennis team fell to Albia 5-4, with two of the matches lost coming in a tiebreaking set.
