The Pella boys soccer team earned a road win 4-1 over Fairfield Monday. Head Coach Mark Solomon says the Dutch started off strong and scored early, but a mistake by the defense led to a tying goal by Fairfield. He says they struggled to get shots on target, and Fairfield’s goalkeeper played well for a long stretch. Eventually, later in the second half, the Dutch regained their confidence and settled in, pulling away. Pella earned goals from Isaac Semini, Preston Rowe, Aren Hellbusch, and Levi Hansen. The Dutch improve to 2-0 and are in action against Indianola at home this evening, opposite the #12 girls, who travel for their conference opener in Indianola.
