PCM’s boys’ golf squad opened the season with a second-place finish in a triangular at Lynnville-Sully Tuesday.

 

The Mustangs tied for first place in the triangular with Albia with a score of 171. Grant Van Veen finished with a 39, earning him the meet medalist. Easton Van Veen followed up with a score of 42, second for PCM. Keaton Thomas placed third for the Mustangs with a low of 43. PCM and Albia both finished 13 strokes ahead of third-place Lynnville-Sully.

 

PCM will have a full week to prepare for their next meet, which is Monday at Terrace Hills Course in Bondurant-Farrar.
