The Pella Christian track and field teams were scheduled to run in five meets in the last three weeks, but the weather had different plans. Through the opening three weeks of the track season on Eagle Lane, Pella Christian has competed in just two meets, with one of them being canceled part way through the events. Despite having just one full competition under their belts due to the weather, Eagles Head Coach Keith Anderson is remaining optimistic.
“That’s part of it, and you just kind of have to push through, but I really like the positivity I’ve seen so far but I’m excited to get back in the swing of things.”
The Eagles’ next scheduled track meet is on Tuesday, when they host the Pella Christian Invitational.
