A special telethon on Saturday kicked off a fundraiser to offset the costs of Pella Marching Dutch students attending the Rose Parade in 2023. Students called on friends, family, and supporters of the program to raise support for their trip coming up this winter at the end of 2022. Pella Marching Dutch Students Mallory Westerkamp and Alexa Klein are thankful for the outpouring of support, and look forward to the once-in-a-generation experience in Pasadena.

On the first day, the Pella Marching Dutch have raised more than $35,000 of their $200,000 goal to offset half of the cost of the trip for every one of the 210 students who attend.
