A Pella High School senior took a break from her ongoing soccer season to put on a Pella basketball uniform for the final time as a competitor. On Saturday, Anna Vander Waal competed in the Iowa Girls Coaches Association Larry Niemeyer Senior All-Star game. Anna was selected to play on the Class 4A/5A White Team, which was coached by Trent Edsen of Grinnell. Anna’s team won by a score of 97-89, and she chipped in 17 points.
