The Knoxville Middle School Seventh and Eighth Grade Bands competed at the South Central Iowa Band Association Large Group Contest this past weekend. Knoxville Sixth Grade through Eighth Grade Instrumental Instructor Tim McBride spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the performance.

“They performed reality well. We have been working on the music for this event for quite a while. Both bands had separate performances and the Seventh and Eighth Grade Bands both received a Division One rating.”

The Knoxville Middle School Bands will hold their final concert of the year on May 19 at the Knoxville High School Auditorium
