Pleasantville’s boys’ golf squad placed first and the girls placed second in a West Central Conference home quadrangular Monday, while the track teams will travel to Pella Christian.

 

The Trojans’ boys placed first with a team score of 177, eight strokes ahead of second-place Woodward-Granger. Jaxx Lovell took home the meet medalist with a score of 39. Larry Remster placed second on the Trojans with a score of 45. Mason Scheve rounded out the top three with a score of 46.

 

The Trojans’ girls placed second with a team score of 213, 19 strokes behind Woodward-Granger. Kristen Roe was the top golfer for Pleasantville with a score of 50, good enough for third place. Leah Adreon placed second on the Trojans with a score of 53, while Emily Roe placed third on the team with a score of 54.

 

Both golf squads will be back in action for a quadrangular at Shady Oaks Golf Course in Ackworth today. The meet will begin at 4:00 PM.

 

The Trojans’ track squads will travel to Pella Christian for their meet today. Pleasantville’s girls will be looking for a higher finish as they have finished fourth in their first two meets at Clarke and Lynnville-Sully. The Trojans’ boys placed first in their first meet at Lynnville-Sully and will be looking for another high finish on Eagle Lane.

 

The meet at Pella Christian High School gets underway at 4:30 PM.
