A round of scattered thunderstorms could produce severe weather tonight through early Wednesday. The National Weather Service has issued an enhanced risk for tornadoes, strong winds, and large hail across south central Iowa. The storms are expected to be scattered in nature, so some areas may receive the worst of the conditions while others may miss out, according to the National Weather Service. Gusty winds are expected to continue over the next several days as well, peaking on Thursday with speeds up to 50 MPH possible as well. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest weather information.
