The Melcher-Dallas Fire Department was called to a residential structure fire at 112 SW First Street in Melcher-Dallas on Tuesday morning. Firefighters arrived on scene and smoke was visible coming out of the structure. The fire was contained to one area of a room. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental with a heat lamp. Pleasantville Emergency Services and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
