The Rotary Club of Knoxville is holding a fundraiser dinner Thursday, April 14 from 4:00 pm-6:30 pm at the Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. Pennie Sommar from the Rotary Club spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the event.
“We are having a drive-through dinner catered by Chariton’s Carpenter Hall. The dinner is two pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, a vegetable, and a dinner roll for $10. You buy your tickets ahead of time and drive through between 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm and pick it up and be on your way.”
Sommar said tickets can be purchased from Rotary Club members and also some of our Rotary businesses, Don Croghan CPA, Johnson, Lane, and Hughes Law Office, Larry Formanek Chiropractic Office, and Sundance Realty.”
Proceeds help support The Rotary Club’s community projects such as Highway 14 Flags, youth, and work against human trafficking.
