Five of the seven Pella Christian sports teams are set to be in action on Thursday, and all five teams are on the road.

Thursday begins for the Eagles with the #8 ranked Girls Tennis squad traveling to Saydel for a match, and the Boys and Girls Track and Field Teams making the short trip to Knoxville for the Panther Relays. Pella Christian Boys Tennis travels to Davis County for a triangular with the hosts and Centerville, and the #4 ranked Boys Soccer team wraps up the night with a match at Norwalk. Looking to bounce back from a loss Tuesday, Pella Christian Boys Soccer player Jack Fancher says the team is continuing to improve.

“Last year, we didn’t really move the ball that much, but this year we’re passing it a lot better and a lot of new people are coming in and contributing a lot. I think right now we’re not there yet, but I think by the end of the season we should be able to step up and we can compete.”

The Pella Christian Girls Tennis Match and Boys and Girls Track Meet begin at 4:15 p.m. The Eagles Boys Tennis triangular starts at 4:30 p.m., and the Boys Soccer match is at 6 p.m.
