Crisis Intervention Services will be holding an online art auction. Executive Director Sarah Champoux spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the auction.
“We are having an online art auction on April 20 and people can bid on the items from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day. If they would like to look at the items in advance they can come to our office during business hours on April 18 and 19 or they can call and arrange a private viewing.”
Champoux tells us what the proceeds will be used for.
“The proceeds will be used to assist victims of crime financially with rent, utilities, transportation and those types of things. As well as anything else that may come up that our restricted funding may not allow us to pay for like car payments or anything that are those types of things.”
For more information you can find the event flier on the Crisis Intervention Services Facebook page.
