Work on Phase 2 of the Indianola Square Reconstruction Project continued this week. Work on the intersection of Salem and 1st St went forward, with the intersection expected to be open to traffic at the end of next week. Storm sewer and water main installation continued, with water services installed for the buildings on the south side of Salem Ave, with utility connections beginning on the intersection of Salem Ave and Howard St, and continuing to Ashland Ave.
Over the next week, the removal of pavement on Howard St. will begin, stormwater utilities will be installed, and yard hydrants will be installed. Find the full update below.
