Simpson College held a rebrand party for their new Simpson Athletics logo Thursday afternoon, completing a process that began over a year ago. Athletic Director Marty Bell tells KNIA News the logo was a way to bring a fresh look to the Simpson Athletic Department and teams, while honoring the strong tradition of the past.

“I started to look at where our opportunities lie. What was going that was great, that we really wanted to build on, the traditions that have been here. But then where are some opportunities for us to get progressive and start to get a look that matches the vision that I saw for us to get to be that team in the ARC (American Rivers Conference) regionally and nationally.”
