Multi-award-winning Bluegrass band Lori King and Junction 63 will be performing at the Grand Theater 212 East Robinson Street in Knoxville Saturday, April 23. Lori King spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the show.

“I was looking for a venue for a concert series I have been putting together across Iowa. I reached out to the Grand Theater and it’s a great opportunity. Knoxville is a great area and I knew we could draw the kind of audience I was looking for and we have those followers there. We are going to have Lori King and Junction 63, a band called the Bluegrass Blondies from the Ottumwa area, and Kellie Kingery who is the Marion County Assessor. She is a great singer/songwriter and she is going to open the show for us.”

Doors open at 6 pm with the show starting at 7 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for youth ages 13-16 and kids 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased online at www.junction63.com or at the door the night of the show. The show is sponsored by Lori King Productions, Sundance Realty, and in part by support from the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment of Art.
