In a top 15 showdown, the #6 in 2A Pella boys soccer team handled short-handed and #11-ranked Carlisle 5-0 Friday evening.

Head Coach Mark Solomon says the Dutch played extremely confident and hard in the first half, and took a commanding lead of 4-0 into halftime with some great shooting.

He says Carlisle played much more inspired in the second half, and enjoyed most of the possession, but struggled to get off quality shots that were dangerous.
