With very few days in April reaching near average temperatures, spring could turn a corner soon.
While well below average temperatures will continue through Tuesday, a warmer air mass settles in by mid-week. Typically, the average high in mid-April is in the mid-to-upper 50s and typical overnight low is in the upper 30s.
According to the National Weather Service, both their 6-10 day and 8-14 day outlooks show significantly higher probability for above average temperatures, with some continuing rounds of precipitation included as well.
Daytime highs will approach the 60s by Thursday and 70s by the weekend.
