The annual Indianola Spring Cleanup is set to begin next Monday, running through Friday. Interim City Manager Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News items will be picked up on recycling day, and must be out on the curb by 6am, and only large items not hauled through the weekly service will be picked up, and does not include construction materials, railroad ties, or tires, and items that are bulky and difficult to handle such as swing sets, which must be cut up or dismantled into pieces no longer than four feet. Appliance drop-off, e-cycling, and hazardous waste removal will take place at the Brush Facility this Saturday from 9am – 1pm. For more information, click below.
