Warren County Conservation is hosting a controlled evening Prairie Burn tomorrow evening. Co-Director Karen Johlas-Szalkowski tells KNIA News the fire will light up the night sky, and attendees can learn about the valuable role fire plays in the prairie ecosystem and why prescribed burns are used, and the fire will enhance the beauty of the night sky, and is a great family event. The program is dependent on weather conditions, and will take place from 8-9pm at the Annett Nature Center. Find more information below.
