Two days removed from a night where all eight Pella High School spring sports teams were in action, another full slate awaits the varsity athletes in green and white today.

In a meet featuring defending champions Gilbert and 2021 state qualifiers Knoxville, the Dutch boys golf team returns home at Bos Landen. Seniors Will Simpson and Ayden Gordon — who were featured on this week’s KNIA/KRLS Radio Sports Page, say they have big goals and want to keep improving as much as possible, knowing strong teams remain in the Class 3A field — including those they will see at home. The meet at Bos Landen starts at noon.

Today also marks the final opportunity for track and field athletes to qualify for next week’s Drake Relays. Pella’s defending 3A championship boys will show off some of their strongest relays of the spring so far at Waukee, while the girls head to Newton to try and build on several improvements made Tuesday in Ottumwa. The track meet in Waukee starts at noon, while the Cardinals Invitational begins at 4:30 p.m.
