Pleasantville Boys and Girls Golf At Home For Triangular

 

Both of Pleasantville’s golf squads will have a West Central Conference triangular on their home course today.

 

The Trojans will compete with Van Meter and Des Moines Christian, two of the better teams in the conference. Pleasantville’s boys are coming off finishing third in a quad at the Preserve on Rathbun Lake Monday. The Trojans’ girls will have their first meet in a week and half. Their last meet was a second-place finish on their home course in a West Central Conference quad.

 

The triangular at the Pleasantville Country Club gets underway at 4:00 PM.

 

Pleasantville Girls Track at Baxter, Boys Travel to Martensdale

 

Both of Pleasantville’s track squads will look to get back on the track and compete at a high level on the road today.

 

The Trojans’ girls will compete at the Lady Bolt Relays in Baxter today. Pleasantville is coming off placing 11th at the Bill Miller Invitational in Van Meter Tuesday. The Trojans will compete with eight other schools, including West Central Conference foes Madrid and Des Moines Christian.

 

The Trojans’ boys will travel west to compete in the Martensdale-St. Mary’s Boys Invitational today. Pleasantville is coming off placing third in the Bill Miller Invitational at Van Meter Tuesday. The Trojans will compete with 11 other schools, which include the host, West Central Conference foes Interstate-35 and Madrid, and Pella Christian.

 

Both meets get underway at 4:30 PM.
