This morning at 7:45 am Knoxville Fire and EMS crews were called to Marion County Public Health for a report of the smell of gas. Crews arrived and detected levels of Carbon Monoxide throughout the building. All employees were evacuated and no one was injured. Marion County Public Health is closed for the rest of today and will reopen on Friday April 22 at 8:00am.  Knoxville Fire was assisted  by Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Marion County Emergency Management, Alliant Energy and Marion County Maintenance.
