A single vehicle crash in Warren County resulted in a fatality Monday. According to the Iowa State Patrol, 79-year-old John Lester Dittmer from Milo was driving southbound on Hwy S-31 when his vehicle left the roadway and traveled across a field. Dittmer’s truck then crossed Nevada St. before coming to a rest in a field south of the street, where he was found deceased at approximately 12:30pm. The Iowa State Patrol and Milo Ambulance responded to the call. The incident is under investigation.
