Melcher-Dallas sports teams are busy today with three activities. The girls golf squad is at Pleasantville for a meet while the boys track and field squad heads to PCM and the girls are at the Murr relays at Clarke. Coach Amy Stuart tells KNIA Sports it has been a struggle to figure out how her line up will look by the conference due to not having very many meets because of cancellations.

Stuart: “Just making sure that girls are running events that are best suited for them, and trying to get consistency for the field events, because we haven’t been able to practice them, so it’s been good to have meets so we can figure out how we can competes in those field events when we don’t have the facilities for practice time for them.”

Stuart adds the field events have started to round into form with Gabby Overgaard and BriAnna Remster in the throws. Stuart hopes to pull off a few top threes at the conference meet next week
