The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce held their Knoxville in Action event Thursday. Chamber Executive Director Emma Skahill spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the event.
“For the first time, Knoxville In Action went pretty well. We had a handful of people that showed up and it gave them a great opportunity to get to know some of the organizations in Knoxville. We are planning on doing this again within the next year or so and hope that it can grow.”
Approximately 17 organizations were in attendance to offer volunteer opportunities.
