Child safety is a major concern and there are many resources parents can use to learn more about how to keep their children safe. Knoxville School Resource Officer Kyle Keller spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about a few resources parents can use.
“The one thing I steer parents in the direction of is if they want to learn on their own or have some educational tools on how to be safe, especially on the internet. The site missingkids.org is a great place to start. On the site you can go to netssmarts.org and kidssmarts.org. You can go through them there as they have different activities for different ages and you can go through the activities with your kids to see what they are going through.”
