Pleasantville Boys Golf 11th at Moravia, Girls Golf 1st at Home
Pleasantville’s girls’ golf squad placed first in their home triangular, while the boys placed just outside the top ten at Moravia.
The Trojans’ girls placed first with a team score of 397, ten strokes ahead of second-place Carlisle. Kristen Roe won her fourth consecutive meet medalist award with a low score of 80, 13 strokes ahead of second place.
The Trojans’ boys placed 11th at the Moravia Invitational Thursday. Pleasantville finished with a team score of 373. The low scorer for Pleasantville was Ryder Thill with a score of 89. Second on the Trojans in scoring was Jaxx Lovell with a score of 90.
Pleasantville’s boys will be back in action today for a dual meet at home against Carlisle. The meet will get underway at 2:00 PM. The Trojans’ girls will be back on the course Tuesday for the West Central Conference Meet.
Pleasantville Boys Track Wins PCM Invite
Pleasantville’s boys’ track and field squad took home the PCM Boys Invitational Title Thursday night.
The Trojans finished with 153 team points, 43 ahead of second-place PCM. Pleasantville dominated the meet with seven first-place finishes. Blayton Nilles placed first in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Ross Stephens placed first in the 110 meter hurdles. Trevor Nickel had a first-place finish in the 400 meter dash. Other first-place finishes came from Yusef Gulley in the long jump, the 800 sprint medley relay, and the 4×100 meter relay.
The Trojans’ boys will be back along with the girls for the West Central Conference meet Tuesday at Woodward-Granger.
