The Indianola girls golf team shot a 398 to finish in 11th place at the Lamson Invite in Willow Creek Golf Course in Des Moines Friday, while the Indians boys soccer team fell to Ames 3-1. The Indians girls golf squad was led by a 91 from Camryn Overton, Kinzey Johnston scored a 94, Hanna Graham shot a 101, while Bella Parker scored a 112. The Indians next golf Monday hosting DCG and Newton in a triangular at the Indianola Country Club.

The Indians boys soccer team scored the first goal of the contest with Aidan Boggs finding the back of the net to take a 1-0 lead, only to see Ames equalize to go into the half tied at one. The Little Cyclones would score two goals in the second half and shut out the Indians to earn the win. Head coach Heath Weeks said his squad continues to impress defensively, and they need to be able to find a groove to get their best scoring chances. Indianola falls to 3-10 on the season, and travel to Oskaloosa on Tuesday.
