On the final day of April, the Dutch boys soccer team and girls tennis team are both hoping to avoid inclement weather to host tournaments today.

The #10 in 2A Pella boys soccer team welcomes ADM and Hudson for matches, while the #3-ranked girls tennis team welcomes strong competition for an invitational-style event.

At the football stadium, the day opens with a state quarterfinals rematch between the Dutch and Tigers; ADM defeated Pella in the 2021 state tournament opening round. Hudson and ADM will clash after, and the Pirates and Pella will round out the day at 1 p.m.

Athletes from #2 Waterloo Columbus and #9 Pella Christian, as well as Ottumwa, Oskaloosa, and Davis County, will compete at Caldwell Park, starting at 9 a.m.

Also in action today, the #7 Pella boys golf team is at Pine Knolls Country Club.
