The McKay Group of Knoxville has acquired Meyers Insurance of Pleasantville. McKay Group President Todd Chambers spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the acquisition.

“Meyers Insurance Agency has been in Pleasantville since 1910 and we are just looking at building off of what they have done in the community. We are really looking forward to being a part of the Pleasantville community and carrying on the traditions that they have started. We also have additional carriers and options that we bring. We feel it is going to be a good fit.”

Meyers Insurance Agency will be under the McKay Group starting June 1, and the McKay Group will begin helping Meyers Insurance customers in the coming weeks.  With the acquisition, McKay Group will have offices in Knoxville, Pleasantville, and Oskaloosa.
