The Melcher-Dallas School District recently had a bond issue pass for the expansion of the high school. Melcher-Dallas School District Superintendent Scott Bridges Spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the Expansion.

“We are going to add an art room, a music room for the band and choir, an Ag classroom, an industrial tech classroom, and a new gym.”

Bridges talks about the new gym.

“We are really excited about the way it will look. It’s very modern looking and it has a skybox. On one side of the gym there’s an upper level where we have a fitness room that has a glass skybox where you can go out onto a balcony and watch the games from there.”

Bids for the project will be received on May 5 and a bid will be awarded on May 10.
