The Simpson baseball team won two out of three games against Luther over the weekend, giving them a slight hope to still make the American Rivers Conference tournament. The Storm won on Saturday 11-3 and 7-2 before dropping their Sunday contest 2-1, their 9th loss in conference play by two or less runs. The Storm go into the final series of the regular season this weekend against Loras, trailing the sixth spot in the conference standings by two games, and will likely need to sweep the Duhawks to make it into the final position. Simpson will get a practice game in, traveling to Augustana tomorrow.
