Pleasantville’s track and field squads competed in the West Central Conference track meet at Woodward-Granger, while the boys’ golf squad will compete in their Conference meet today at Lake Panora.
The Trojans’ boys’ track squad placed fourth in the meet, finishing with 77.5 total points, eight ahead of fifth-place Earlham. Pleasantville’s highest finish was in the 400M shuttle hurdle relay event, placing first with a time of 1:11.06. The Trojans’ girls finished eighth with 38.5 points, a point and a half ahead of ACGC. Pleasantville’s highest finish was a second-place finish in the 800 Sprint Medley Relay with a time of 2:08.70.
Both track squads will be back in action for a coed meet at Newton Thursday night.
The Trojans’ boys golf squad will compete in the West Central Conference meet today at Panorama. Pleasantville is coming off placing first in a home triangular with Carlisle and Melcher-Dallas Friday. The Trojans will be looking to finish in the top half of the West Central Conference meet this year.
The meet at Lake Panora gets underway at 9:00 AM.
