The Twin Cedars Girls Track and Field Squad was 7th and the boys were 9th while the Melcher-Dallas boys were 3rd and the girls placed 6th at the Bluegrass Conference Meet on Tuesday. For the Twin Cedars girls, Rylee Dunkin did her normal thing winning gold in three of four events winning the long jump, 1500, and 3000 meter runs while placing 2nd in the 100. Ali Mockenhaupt took gold in the discus and the 4×200 meter relay team of Brooke Roby, Jillian French, Jetta Sterner, and Abi Milledge placed 3rd. For the boys among the top finishes was Andrew Freel 6th in the 800 and 1600, Noah Fee placing 5th in the long jump and Brian Garrett 6th in the discus. The Melcher-Dallas boys got 1st place showings from Owen Suntken in the 110 high hurdles, and the shuttle hurdle relay team of Sunkten, Anthony Schneider, Lucas Harrington, and Logan Godfrey. Schneider placed 3rd individual in the 400 hurdles and Godfrey had individual finishes of 3rd in the 100 and 1st in the high jump. The girls cleaned up on relays placing 3rd in the 4×100 and 400 and 2nd in the 4×200 and distance medley relays while Gabby Overgaard came home with a silver medal in both the shot and discus events.
