The Indianola Chamber of Commerce is asking the public to support local businesses throughout the weekend in honor of National Small Business Week, a week proclaimed by President Biden to celebrate the more than 32 million small businesses which employ almost half of America’s workforce and represent the heart and soul of countless communities.
Indianola Chamber President and CEO Brenda Easter tells KNIA News the chamber wants to honor our local entrepreneurs, friends, and neighbors who have followed their dreams, taken the risks, and consistently offer the goods, services, and entertainment to the residents of Indianola and Warren County.
Easter also said approximately 68 cents of each dollar spent locally stays local, and goes towards our schools, roads, and other infrastructure projects. The Indianola Chamber Facebook Page is also offering tickets to a Friday Night Live concert this summer for those who participate in their challenge. For more information, click below.
