The Knoxville City Council approved a Downtown Housing Grant at their most recent meeting. Knoxville Economic Development Director Glenn Lyons spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the grant.

“This was the first grant decision and it was for three apartments to be added on top of Candi’s Flowers at 101 S. Third Street. This is a $300,000 project and the state has awarded us a $150,000 grant. The City Council has committed to another $75,000.”
