The Pella Marching Dutch will formally receive their invitation to the Rose Parade on Saturday. Amy Wainscott is the President of the Tournament of Roses Parade and stopped by the Big Red Radio for an interview during Tulip Time. She says what makes the Marching Dutch standout is the spirit of service that surrounds the band in their efforts each year. Wainscott will be presenting the Pella Marching Dutch with their official banner and invitation to the 2023 parade after Saturday afternoon’s grandstand show on the Tulip Toren.
