The Pella Christian girls tennis team begins regional play on Wednesday and the team feels that the many challenges and obstacles this season has them well prepared.
The Eagles had many girls move up or into the varsity lineup this spring, dealt with many practices being moved indoors, and had a handful of meets postponed or canceled. Despite the hurdles they’ve faced, Head Coach Danielle Stubbs has been pleased with work ethic she’s seen this season.
“They’ve worked hard all season, a great work ethic and you know so many times inside and with our inclement weather all spring. But we’ve seen so much improvement.”
