Pella Sweeps Home Track Meet to End Regular Season
The final regular season meet of 2022 ended up in victory for the Pella boys and girls track and field teams Monday at their home invitational. The two teams had the chance to highlight the vast majority of their rosters as their state qualifying lineups worked to tune up for Thursday’s district meet.

Pella Boys Shoot Season Low for Runner Up at Conference Golf Meet

The Pella boys golf team fired a season-best 306 to place 2nd in the Little Hawkeye Conference meet Monday. Will Simpson fired his best scorecard of the spring, with a 67 to win the conference title. Ayden Gordon shot 75 and Cade McGinley carded an 80 to earn All-Conference honors and Thomas Tangen was at 84 to round out the Dutch sheet. Pella opens the postseason Wednesday at Edmundson Golf Course in Oskaloosa.

Pella Girls Golf 4th in 7-Team LHC Meet
The Pella Girls Golf Team placed 4th in a competitive Little Hawkeye Conference Tournament at their home course Monday. The Dutch shot 426 and were led by Karsyn Lyons who shot a 100 placing her on the All-Conference team. Other leading scores were: Olivia Hood (106), Reagan VanWyk (110), and Olivia Deneke (110).
