The Indianola School Board met in regular session Tuesday, and received the recommendation from the District Facilities Task Force to select the “Replace in Place” option for improvements to the Indianola High School. The project now progresses to the public, where the community will need to collect enough signatures, one-fourth of the amount that voted in the most recent school board election, and return it to the board, who will then consider putting it on the ballot for a referendum to receive $94-100 million in funds. The ballot is expected to be considered by the board sometime in July as per the projected timeline from the task force.
