The Alumni Association/S.O.S. committee held a public forum on Wednesday night to discuss the future of Ken Locke Stadium. Approximately 80 members of the community gathered to discuss what is the next step for the stadium. Pennie Sommar of the Alumni Association/S.O.S committee spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about what was the goal of the meeting.

“We wanted to see what the people that support the S.O.S committee think about what needs to be done with the stadium. There is a  lot of passion in this room tonight and in the community.”

Sommar tells us what the next step for the committee is.

“We will take the recommendation from people tonight and get updated numbers for the project. I will reach out to the contractor that previously did the numbers before. After that, we will have discussions on how to proceed.”
