Republican United States Senate candidate Jim Carlin will hold a meet and greet on Wednesday, May 25 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Mr. C’s Family Restaurant, 1107 W. Larson Street in Knoxville. Carlin, a former attorney in Sioux City, is currently serving in Iowa Senate District 3 since 2021 and has also served in the Iowa House. Carlin is on the Senate’s Education and Veterans Affairs committee and is the Vice-Chair of the Ethics committee. Carlin is running for the Senate Republican seat against incumbent Chuck Grassley.
