Pella Baseball Team Stays White Hot, Dominates Carlisle
The Pella baseball team continued its strong start to the 2022 summer season with another dominating victory, this time 14-3 in five innings over Carlisle, as heard live on 92.1 KRLS Tuesday.
A sluggish start in the top of the 1st inning was erased by a six-run bottom half for the Dutch offense. Pella scored their 14 runs on just seven hits, but racked up eight walks and took full advantage of seven Wildcats errors, tallying multiple runs in all four innings at the plate.
Cole Hillman went 3-for-3 with a pair of runs driven in and Keegan Hansen had a three-RBI night as well. Pella improves to 5-0 and welcomes Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont to the home of the Dutch on Thursday.
