A local veteran received recognition from his active duty unit. David Robbins travelled to Fort Campbell, KY, to become a Distinguished Member Of the Regiment from “Above the Rest” 1st Battalion of the 327th Infantry, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).

There have only been 299 individuals assigned the title of Distinguished and honorary members in the history of the 327th Regiment. Robbins has connected veterans with programs locally through the Red Rock Ruck Club, VFW Post 5242, and American Legion Post 89.
