Pella Sophomore Emily Blom finished her second season at the Class 1A State Tennis Meet Saturday, placing 6th among the singles competitors. Blom went 2-1 Friday to advance to the consolation bracket, and started her Saturday with a 6-1, 6-2 win in a rematch from the team tournament against Assumption’s Mary Rolfstad. Emily fell to Sophia Fain of Waterloo Columbus in the 5th place match.
