The Pella softball team finished the first week of the 2022 regular season at a triangular Saturday, splitting the event with a 6-5 win over Lynnville-Sully and a 7-4 loss to the hosts of North Polk.

Against the Comets, the Dutch scored four times in the 6th inning, but couldn’t overcome a 7-run 3rd by the hosts. Thea Wisse finished with two hits and 2 RBI between the games and Tori Van Vark had a three-RBI day.

Pella moves to 4-1 on the season and open the conference schedule Wednesday vs. Norwalk (Game Two on KNIA3).
