The Indianola City Council met in a special session Wednesday, continuing a discussion regarding the future plans for the City Hall/Library Building and the Public Safety Building. The plans to put a bond referendum out to the public for both buildings this fall was not passed by the council in early May.
The council gave direction to city staff to look into a combined City Hall/Public Safety Building and a standalone library building, looking at costs with an expectation to have a potential ballot initiative in March of 2023.
